At Patak’s, our range of pastes are our pride and joy. And that is because, quite simply, they make the most delicious tasting curries.

We use only the finest spices (freshly ground, and blended to our secret family recipes), mixed with oil to lock in the flavours. Using a paste is similar to cooking an Indian meal from scratch. You get all the taste, but without the fuss of selecting and grinding your own spices. What’s more, a lot of Indian restaurants and curry houses make their curries using our pastes, so they really do give you that delicious authentic taste.

Our pastes are easy to use. All you need to do is do is fry off some onions, stir in the paste, add meat and a can of tomatoes, and simmer gently. They are also wonderfully versatile (feast your eyes on some of the great recipes below for inspiration), as well as being fantastically economical – each jar of paste makes 8 servings of curry and lasts up to 6 months once opened.
