Designed For Enjoyment.
The best thing about our karahi is that it not only gives you a traditional way of cooking, but a traditional way of eating too. After all, what could be a more authentic and
enjoyable Indian experience than sitting down with your family or friends and serving up a delicious curry that everyone can help themselves to?
The Patak’s karahi takes all the traditional strengths of the dish and brings them right up to date. So ours is lightweight and non-stick, to make it easy both to use and to clean. It also has two handles which make it simple to lift straight from the hob to the table. And it comes with its own wooden base, so it can stand on your table with no risk of scorching.
As for its size, it's perfect to make a curry for four. So whether you’re cooking for family or friends, they can all enjoy authentic Indian cooking, served up from this traditional Indian dish.
Karahi Care.
Once you have your new karahi, you'll want to care for it to make it last longer. The wooden base must only be used for serving purposes – never place it on top of a hob,
or near a naked flame. As it's made of wood, a quick wipe with a damp cloth is all it needs to keep it clean. The metal bowl is non-stick, so don't use metal utensils as these will
scratch the surface. Never use it on an induction hob, and do not put it in a dishwasher – simply hand wash in a mild detergent.
We just know you’ll love your authentic Patak's karahi. And all the great food.
