This is a great example of using one of our versatile pastes to spice up an everyday meal. You simply marinate chicken drumsticks in a combination of the Tikka Masala spice paste and yogurt, and cook as you normally would do. It is a way to make a nice change to your meal without having to go to a lot of effort. Our pastes last for 6 months once opened, so plenty of time to try lots of ideas.

1. In a bowl mix together Patak’s Tikka Masala Paste, yoghurt and coriander. Add the chicken drumsticks or wings and marinate well. Cover and leave in a refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours (overnight if possible).
2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook on a BBQ, or in a preheated oven (200°C, 180°F, gas 6) for 25 minutes, or under a medium grill, turning occasionally until fully cooked through.
3. Sprinkle with some fresh chopped coriander before serving. Serve with a crisp babyleaf salad.
