Quick & Easy Chicken Vindaloo

A Vindaloo is one of the hottest curries around - and it's the spiciest cooking sauce that we do. Hugely popular in Indian restaurants through the UK, this dish originates from the Goa region of India. This recipe helps you make a really quick and easy Vindaloo at home. Literally all you need is our cooking sauce and meat- our sauce already blends tomatoes onions with cumin, extensive amounts of chillies and authentic spices - so no need for extra ingredients. However, if you are really game, then add some more chillies to the mix... but be careful

Ingredients

Serves 4 people

  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 4 diced medium sized chicken breasts
  • 1 jar of Patak's Vindaloo cooking sauce.

Method

  1. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan
  2. Add diced chicken and stir fry until meat is sealed and browned(approx. 5 mins)
  3. Pour over the jar of Patak's Vindaloo sauce and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Alternatively, use prawns, mixed vegetables lamb or beef. Adjust simmer time accordingly.
